  1. Can MDV be viewed on a mobile device?
    No. MDV's interface relies on multiple panels and is optimized for larger screens.

  2. What file types are supported in production vs local development?
    MDV supports different upload file types depending on environment:

    • Production: CSV (.csv), TSV (.tsv), TXT (.txt)
    • Local development (localhost:5170, used by developers): all development-supported file types, including H5AD (.h5ad), CSV (.csv), TSV (.tsv), and TXT (.txt)
  3. What if my file is larger than 2GB?
    Use the mdvtools CLI for creating MDV project. Refer here.

  4. Is my data secure in MDV?
    MDV follows standard security practices. For more information contact us.

  5. My charts aren't updating when I filter data?
    Check that all charts are linked to the same data source and that filters are properly applied. Try refreshing the view. If the issue still persists, contact us.

  6. I can't see all my columns in the table?
    Some columns may be hidden. Use the table settings to show/hide specific columns or expand the table view.
